Last month, Humana’s Supplier Diversity team launched the 2022 – 2023 Mentor-Protégé Program, welcoming a new cohort of diverse business leaders into the program. The Mentor-Protégé Program was launched in 2019 with the goal to overcome barriers that typically inhibit or restrict the success of diverse-owned, women-owned, LGBTQIA-owned, disability-owned, veteran-owned, and small business enterprises by facilitating relationships with various Humana departments and external partners. During the 12 months of the program, participants are paired with Humana leaders for one-on-one and group mentoring experiences with Humana department leaders, who share their subject-area expertise as well as information about how the company functions. Below, we introduce this year’s participants and hear why they are excited for the program.
