Teaming Up to Improve Dental Health for Children

Dental care and oral health education are vital for our children’s health. We want to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need which is why Humana is proud to sponsor TeamSmile, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide children in need with a life-changing dental experience through the power of sports.

With our support, thousands of children across the country will be served this year at TeamSmile large-scale dental clinics held in sports stadiums and arenas throughout the country. The clinics are held in collaboration with teams in the NFL, MLB, NBA, major college athletic programs and more.

“Seeing a dentist for the first time can be such a positive and life-changing experience that can lead to a lifetime of consistent good oral health.” said Dean M. Since its first outreach program in 2007, TeamSmile has conducted over 250 programs, provided over $18 million of free dental care and oral health education, and served over 50,000 children.
